WHAT’S ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR CAT FLAP?
What do YOU think: was there really a cat who looked like this
staring through the cat flap at the black cat?
Or did the black cat’s fear make this unknown cat look much larger than he was??
Do you have things you find scary, and does your imagination ever make them seem bigger, louder, harder than they really are?
I’ve found that there’s no better way to learn about something than to draw it. It can be really helpful to draw pictures of the things that scare us. The more familiar we are with something, the less scary it becomes.
I INVITE YOU TO DRAW PICTURES THAT ILLUSTRATE YOUR BIGGEST FEARS -- AND THEN, JUST FOR FUN, DRAW THEM SHRINKING DOWN TO A MANAGEABLE SIZE.
You can send them to me at:

I’ll post as many as I can here on the website, and I will periodically select artists at random to receive autographed copies of my books. Make sure to include your contact information and email address!
